Designed and built in Kaohsiung, Taiwan

AS Shark (AS 視覺鯊) designs and builds matrix LED projector headlight assemblies for Vespa scooters. Every unit is developed and produced in-house in Kaohsiung, Taiwan.

What makes our headlights different

  • Matrix projector optics — 30W draw from a compact housing, with output that goes beyond automotive-grade headlights.
  • Carbon fiber brackets — our own composite modules, lighter and stronger than factory mounting, finished with titanium hardware.
  • App-controlled colour — on selected models the XO ring colour and light temperature can be switched from your phone, including a warm beam for rain and fog.
  • Complete assemblies — full units, not bulb swaps.

Fitment note: each headlight assembly is built for one specific Vespa model and is not interchangeable between models. The AS-XOV1, AS-XOV2 and AS-T1 fit the Sprint only and will not fit the Primavera. The AS-R1 tail light is the one unit that fits both the Sprint and the Primavera.

Model years: within each model our assemblies fit all production years. You only need to match the model, not the year.

Our story

We started in 2010 as Fish Studio, at a time when almost nobody in Taiwan was doing high-end custom headlight design and retrofitting. Two things defined the work from the beginning and still do: modular carbon fiber construction, and matrix projector optics.

In 2020 we moved into a larger factory in Kaohsiung and became AS Shark, named for the way a shark keeps moving forward. The new production line let us build custom headlight systems at a proper scale instead of one at a time.

Today our headlights are on scooters around the world.
